Phyllis Lasser is the recipient of the STATE OF NEW JERSEY DISTINGUISHED SALES AWARD for her outstanding achievements in Real Estate.
As the only Realtor in Bergen County to earn Silver Level Status in the Million Dollar Sales Club for twenty consecutive years, Phyllis also achieved President's Club status her very first year in Real Estate (1984) and was recognized by her office as the TOP SALESPERSON OF THE YEAR for five consecutive years.
Prior to entering the Real Estate industry, Phyllis had a distinguished political career working in the White House, the United States Senate, managing many Presidential and Senatorial Campaigns and running for public office herself in New York.

Personal Background
While attending American University in Washington, DC Phyllis began her political career. She has had the honor of working with elected officials such as Senators Robert and Ted Kennedy, Senator George McGovern, Vice-President Hubert Humphrey, Senator Fred Harris and Senator Mo Udahl as well as dignitaries like Ramsey Clark, Theodore H. Sorensen and David Roosevelt.
Working closely with Earl Graves, Phyllis was involved in the early development of "Black Enterprises Magazine," a publication that has made a significant contribution to black business development. She has worked in both film and television and in the production of “California Jam II” which, at the time, was the most financially successful rock concert in history.
Recently Phyllis was honored as "A Woman of Valor" by the Defining Moment Foundation (involved in education and counseling of children and senior citizens in the area of drug and alcohol abuse.) In an effort to bring awareness, understanding, screening and diagnosis to many of the problems affecting women in this country, Phyllis worked with Governor and Mrs. Richard J. Codey to help "The Mother's Act" become a National Law. She has served as the local Coordinator for the Susan G. Komen “Tie a Pink Ribbon” campaign for breast cancer awareness, has been a company liaison and leader for fundraising activities for “Gilda’s Club” and for over 15 years has worked with “Habitat for Humanity” and participated in building over 30 homes for worthy families.

Education and Training
Phyllis Lasser attended American University in Washington, D.C. majoring in both Journalism and Political Science. She studied Public Relations at Princeton in New Jersey and took additional courses at C.W. Post College on Long Island.
During her 16 year long political career she traveled to every state in the Country and between campaigns worked on assignments that took her to both Europe and South America for extended periods of time. In 1982 Phyllis and her husband Mark moved from Manhattan to New Jersey, where Phyllis began her REAL ESTATE career. As a full time Realtor she has little leisure time but does enjoy living near many of their children and grandchildren and sharing their home with their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Phyllis is proud to be the owner of Top Winning Cavalier King Charles Spaniel show and therapy dogs. Phyllis has made several radio and television appearances as well as having published various articles about animal health and general information on pet ownership in the United States. A source of great pleasure came when Phyllis was notified by county employees that she was to be the recipient of their “Good Neighbor Award” for her kindness to work crews doing construction in her immediate neighborhood. For years she has offered coffee in the morning and iced tea in the afternoon, left on her front porch with an open invitation to all of the workers. Phyllis writes and publishes a monthly consumer publication called “Phyllis Lasser’s SOURCES AND RESOURCES” whose mission is to educate the public in consumer affairs. She brings new and exciting products to their attention, recommends companies that are consumer friendly and warnings about those that have less than satisfactory reputations regarding client satisfaction. She shares money saving tips with her clients and provides them with up-to-date information on entertainment and sporting events in the New York Metropolitan area.

Due to the large numbers of loyal clients who depend on her professional guidance, Phyllis has successfully worked with clients all over the State of New Jersey and has listed and sold properties in New York City and Rockland County as well. Some of the towns she specializes in include Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes, Ridgewood, Oakland, Saddle River, Upper Saddle River,Mahwah, Ramsey, Englewood, Tenafly, Glen Rock, Wayne as well as the numerous other towns bordering these communities.
